PROFESSIONAL PROFILE |

Matthias Borchert has been working as a patent engineer as well as a German and European patent attorney candidate since 2021. During his studies at Leibniz University Hannover, Mr. Borchert gained profound knowledge in various technical and scientific areas, such as measurement and sensor technology, cryogenics, high vacuum technology, quantum information, and computational data acquisition and processing. Mr. Borchert further deepened his knowledge during his PhD project at the European Organization for Nuclear Research CERN in Geneva, where he was working as a scientific employee for the Japanese RIKEN institute, the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (the German Federal Physical-Technical Institute) and the Institute of Quantum Optics of Leibniz University at a high-precision experiment on antimatter. Mr. Borchert contributed to several scientific publications and participated in international physics conferences. He is a former scholar of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation.
