Isabella Peiker-Giannotti has been working in the field of intellectual property since 1994 and since 2000 has been registered as an Italian trademark attorney (consulente in marchi) and as a European trademark and design attorney. In the field of trademarks and designs Isabella advises various clients in particular in the trade, tourism and education industries as well as several technical sectors. Her particular interest is the legal development of the retail trade service mark in Europe. With her considerable professional experience and her excellent language skills Isabella specializes on all proceedings before the IP office of the European Union (EUIPO), inter alia registration, opposition and invalidation proceedings. She is also contact person at BETTEN & RESCH for all questions of IP law in and from Italy. Furthermore, she has authored several publications in the field of trademarks (as in: Il Diritto Industriale, INTA Bulletin, World Intellectual Property Report, Patents & Licensing, Journal of the Japan Trademark Association).
